Anger Management- TDC
Bergen and Associates Counselling has a decade of offering quality services to the community. Our Anger Management program, Transforming Destructive into Constructive (TDC) has developed a solid reputation of delivering quality anger management to those enrolled in it. Rod Minaker, our anger management specialist, is able to engage attenders, even if they are mandated to attend, allowing them to interact with material, rather than "just putting the time in".Our anger management program has two basic formats, sharing a common manual and focus. Upon successful completion of all the hours, a certificate is provided. A letter confirming registration is available for a small additional fee.
Please note that the group program has the advantage of learning from the experiences of others as they also work to figure out how to relate to their anger. While for some, this may be intimidating, those who have taken the group have given us the feedback that covering the material in a group format has proven valuable and worthwhile.
For those who have mandated anger management, please note anger management dates and plan ahead to ensure that you have made arrangements sufficiently in advance of the deadlines. If your anger management is court ordered, you may want to determine if our course will be sufficient to meet the requirements. Some people recognize they may require more significant intervention. Additional individual sessions as part of follow up can be an integral tool to fulfilling any mandated anger management and/or for your own personal development. TDC is not intended to be a course taken to address criminal charges for domestic/intimate partner violence.
