Fighting Couples

Do you feel like you are fighting with your spouse "all the time"?

Are you tired of fighting? Is your anger changing you into some one you don’t like or want to be?  Have you been sad and hurting far too long? Have you asked yourself what you are doing wrong or how you can forgive? Despite the many good things you enjoy with friends and family, you and your partner experience distress and more distance than closeness.

You have tried to change things but just when you think its getting better, you almost find yourself in a worse place. Disappointed, let down, discouraged, powerless and defeated. You fall asleep drained and wake up listless. Life is overwhelming.  How can you  stop the unhappy feeling and seemingly downward spiral?

Sometimes couples who were good friends at one time, don’t seem to be able to agree on anything. They become polarized and don’t know how they got there. Often they want to remain in the relationship, but do not want to or cannot live in the state of the ongoing emotional, mental, and physical drain.

Couple therapy can help clarify misunderstandings and identify unexpressed needs and emotions. The purpose and goal of therapy is to help individuals and couples determine as to who they can and want to be in a relationship. Therapy helps couples recognize and define their problem more clearly. This process assist in exploring solutions and can lead to changes in a desired positive direction.
