| We are located a few blocks south of Bishop Grandin close to the University of Manitoba and the Victoria General Hospital in the Markham Professional Building. |
|
A large sign at the corner of Markham and Pembina indicates our building. There is plenty of free parking available in front of the building. This location is fully wheelchair accessible. |

Our office is located on the main floor of the building to the right of the elevator, just around the corner of the dentist's office. You can walk right in. |
During the daytime, you will be greeted by our receptionist when you come into the office. For new clients, there will be a clip board on the desk, ready with information for you to read to understand how we work. At all times, you can relax in the waiting room with a fresh water dispenser, a variety of magazines, a relaxing fountain that soothes peoples' nerves (the gentle "tinkling" has made the occasional person want to use the rest room, though), candy, a bulletin board with news and inspiration that is updated regularly, and comfortable waiting chairs. |

We have three comfortable and relaxing therapy spaces. Each space has been carefully designed to feel conducive to conversations that are important but may feel risky. |
|
Artwork that inspires a sense of safety, comfort, and a challenge to grow adorns the walls. Kleenex is available in every room...we buy it by the case...seriously. While there can be much laughter in therapy, there are probably more tears. Tears that wash away pain and invoke healing. |

We have soft muted lighting in each room providing a safety, recognizing that much of what gets talked about in the therapy room is difficult and can be stressful. |
|
We have a sand tray, with sand tray toys, puppets, paints and various art supplies as well as games for those who find it easier to "talk" with their hands rather than their words. Kids especially find freedom in expressing themselves in alternate ways. |
