Tara Sheppard
Tara Sheppard has completed a B.A. in Psychology from University of British Columbia, and is a graduate with her Master's of Marriage & Family Therapy degree, from University of Winnipeg. Tara has 14 years of experience counselling children, adults, couples, and families with health, addiction, abuse, disability, racism, homophobia, death, grief & loss, infidelity, and divorce and stepfamily issues. Tara has taught courses at Red River College and University of Manitoba on the topics of impact of trauma, addiction and multicultural issues. Tara has a special interest in working with individuals, couples, families and groups who are healing from relational pain due to trauma, infertility, adoption, and stepfamily transitions. Tara enjoys helping people to find balance emotionally, spiritually, physically and psychologically. Her interest is helping people find knowledge and strengths within themselves, their relationships and their communities, so that they can enjoy the fullness of life despite past difficulties. |
